1. Effective October 1, 1995, the environmental regulation and remediation functions of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) were transferred to the newly-formed Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ).

2. The U.S. EPA clean-up guideline for PCBs in residential soil is 1 ppm.
