CONCLUSIONS

Based on the available information reviewed, IDPH concludes the site currently poses no apparent public health hazard.


RECOMMENDATIONS

IDPH recommends that IEPA:

  1. Provide and maintain an adequate landfill cap.

  2. Obtain hydrogeological data that defines the direction of groundwater flow at the site.

  3. Continue to sample the monitoring wells.
