Case Studies in Environmental Medicine (CSEM)

Pilot Testing Program

Thank you for your assistance with ATSDR’s Case Studies in Environmental Medicine (CSEM) pilot testing program. Pilot testing determines how many continuing education credits can be assigned for completing the CSEM training modules. Pilot testing is also an important way to receive comments about the CSEM.  We encourage physicians, nurses, health educators, sanitarians, industrial hygienists, and other health professionals who are not experts in these topics to be pilot testers.

Case Studies Results due by
There are no current case studies in the pilot testing program.

The case studies have been designed to help primary health care professionals further their knowledge of environmental health.

As a volunteer, please read the case study (it usually takes 60 to 90 minutes) and complete the evaluation and post test. The post test is short and answers are provided for your reference. While doing this, please keep an accurate record of the total elapsed time for completion of the case study and the evaluation and post test. (More detailed instructions are provided for each case study.)

When finished, please complete the "pilot test response form," "biographical data form," and "case study evaluation form"  and return them by U. S. mail to:
