Case Studies in Environmental Medicine (CSEM)
Status of the Revised Case Studies

Pilot Testing

We are completing a review and update of all current case study monographs. Sixteen case studies, Arsenic Toxicity, Asbestos Toxicity, Benzene Toxicity, Chromium Toxicity, Disease Clusters: An Overview, Environmental Triggers of Asthma, Lead Toxicity, Nitrate/Nitrite Toxicity, Pediatric Environmental Health, Polychlorinated Biphenyl (PCB) Toxicity, Radiation Exposure from Iodine-131, Radon Toxicity, Stoddard Solvent Toxicity, Taking an Exposure History, Toluene Toxicity, and Trichloroethylene Toxicity, are available on the Internet.

If you are a health professional interested in pilot testing new case studies, visit the Pilot Testing Program Web page.

Future Directions

We will continue to promote and market the case studies to health care institutions and survey health professionals in an effort to keep the program viable and relevant to their education needs.
