In this webinar, you will learn how to perform exposure calculations for the health effects evaluation of the PHA process.

Training objectives

At the conclusion of the Public Health Assessment Webinar: Performing Exposure Calculations, you will be able to:

1. Evaluate quantitatively the contaminants that met or exceeded the comparison values (CVs) in Module 6

2. Calculate exposure doses for two routes (ingestion and dermal contact)

3. Derive hazard quotients (HQs) to evaluate noncancer hazards

4. Calculate cancer risks (CRs) for carcinogenic contaminants

5. Evaluate exposure to contaminants in air

6. Evaluate exposure scenarios using ATSDR's Public Health Assessment Site Tool (PHAST)

7. Describe the importance of interprofessional collaboration in conducting the Public Health Assessment

Target audience
