Background

USEPA provided ATSDR with residential soil data they collected in 2017 and 2018 from ten residential properties. Concentrations of arsenic ranged from 3.2 to 56,000 milligrams of arsenic per kilogram of soil (mg/kg), which exceeded state and federal residential soil screening values.

These data provided the basis for the health consultation that evaluated the public health implications from exposure to arsenic in residential soils.
