Congenital Heart Defects (CHDs)
What if I was exposed to TCE and plan on getting pregnant?
Exposure to TCE before or after your pregnancy will not affect the developing fetus. The most vulnerable period is the first two to eight weeks of your pregnancy. During this time, the baby’s major organs, including the heart, are developing.
