Exposure Pathway
Will a person get sick if an exposure pathway is complete?
If there is a completed pathway, a person may or may not get sick or have health effects from the exposure. How much of the chemical a person is exposed to, how often they are exposed, and how long the exposure lasts will determine how the exposure may affect the person’s health. A person’s age at the time of the exposure will also influence what health effects might be seen.
