National Conversation on Public Health and Chemical Exposures

Web Dialogues

Historical Document

This Web site is provided by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) ONLY as an historical reference for the public health community. It is no longer being maintained and the data it contains may no longer be current and/or accurate.

See highlights of Web Dialogue #1 and Web Dialogue #2.

National Conversation partners hosted two Web-based discussions, which engaged a broad range of stakeholders from around the United States at key points in the project. Each Web dialogue allowed interested Web Dialoguemembers of the public to exchange and develop ideas, and share their views on the project’s vision, issues, and deliverables.

We summarized the results of each Web dialogue and provided them to the National Conversation work groups, Leadership Council members, and the public. Work groups used the Web dialogues to identify common concerns and major issues for consideration in their reports; however, the Leadership Council had primary responsibility for considering and using the input from all Web dialogues.
